Tourist information portal Ljubljana (Ljubljana Tourist Board)

The Ljubljana Tourist Board requested that we prepare a multi-lingual tourist information portal. Particular emphasis was put on supporting the given number of languages, in which the portal provides its tourist information. We simultaneously simplified the functions and tasks of the portal's editors and adapted them to work in the internet environment. This enabled the editors to update the portal's contents more efficiently and from different locations. The most important function of the portal is a dynamic display of information for events and current tourist projects.

The data are stored in a relational database (PostgreSQL), on an internet server, running the Linux operating system. The portal is attracting a growing number of visitors since it offers diverse and helpful information to tourists.
