Virtual nuclear power plant

The visual simulation of elements at the Krsko Nuclear Power Plant was created separately for the needs of presentations. Basically, it is designed to be a 3D visual simulation database of the Nuclear Plant, which can be, as required, adapted for implementation to the intranet. The user is able to move freely and interactively among the plant's buildings and structures.

By clicking on a particular structure the user can access information regarding the object in the form of text, images, animations, simulations, and video clips. The user may also move within these structures and examine other important elements. The basic framework of the simulation can be, upon request, supplemented by, and connected to, existing databases.

The simulation is useful for various purposes - for the education of personnel, presentations to the public, planning of rescue operations, transport of equipment, navigation, repairs, project changes, construction works, ...etc.
