Strategic planning at Ministry of the Economy

For the Ministry of the Economy we created a programming solution for the supervision of projects and strategic tasks. The application is intended primarily for strategic planning and is totally oriented towards the four basic areas of content: Laws-Agreements, Programmes, Sub-programmes and Activities-Events.

Each area has a set of tasks, each task has a set of activities, each of which are linked to a participant’s specific activity or task. The timing for each task is managed within the application. Participants can view their tasks and activities, and the application provides reminders of time delays on an individual task basis.

The application creates a Gantt chart for all strategic tasks for a one-year period. This provides a quick overview of all strategic tasks and aids in planning activities.

The programming solution is not intended only for strategic planning, but also as a tool for viewing tasks and activities for individuals within a specific department. Every manager can create his or hers own area to oversee and manage the tasks and activities that were divided among the employees.
