Visual simulation of the rescue exercise Golica-Koralpe

We created visual simulation of the rescue exercise Golica-Koralpe for the Administration for Civil Protection and Disaster Relief at Ministry of Defence in Republic of Slovenia. The rescue exercise was based on the incident where the river dam HPP Golica colapsed because of the heavy rainfals and floods in the vicinity of Koralpe mountains, which created destructive water/mud wavefront in area of Bistrica Canal and Dravska Valley.

Interactive scene with 3D terrain of above mentioned area together with all the waterways, vilages and other objects which were affected by the destructive wavefront were created by us. Thanks to modern visual simulation we were able to present the actual conditions which are caused by natural disasters. Visual simulations can assist our customer with the possibility of training the different rescue scenarios which are very useful to the participants of the rescue exercise.
