Sailboat Elan 45

The Elan Marine Company requested that we create a virtual copy, of an altered form, of a new sailing boat; Elan 45. This was required for presentations at fairs and on the internet. We prepared short web animations depicting a new sailing boat. In addition to this we added the characteristic views, from the details of the new design, which were also used in the printing of promotional materials.

The virtual presentation of the sailboat was very useful in screening the market's response to the concepts of the new design, allowing the company to acquire valuable information. This was of key significance in the decision making process. In developing our creation we used the software tools Maya Alias/Wavefront.
