CAC (Cisco Accounting)

CAC is a software system for the acquisition of statistical information on data streams running through Cisco routers. It enables the calculation of data streams between individual IP addresses at user defined time intervals.

The acquired data is stored in a relational base (PostgreSQL), wherein the data are also transformed into a form suitable for viewing via the internet. The CAC software system is currently functioning successfully at Softnet, an internet service provider.
