August 2002 - Following an intensive testing phase, we completed the work on the Cisco accounting software system. The system acquires statistical information on the traffic running through Cisco routers, enabling accurate calculation of traffic between individual IP addresses. It enables the calculation of data streams between individual IP addresses at user defined time intervals. The collected data are stored in an object relational database (PostgreSQL), wherein the data are transformed into a form that can be viewed via the company's web pages.
